Located in Genesee county Michigan, we are one of the most well equipped state of the art facilities, and the only air conditioned facility in the Flint area. We have programs to offer at every age and every level. At EPIC, our number one priority is your child! We strive to give your child the environment they need in order to grow as a gymnast safely and successfully. Our team of coaches awaits the opportunity to work with your child now and in the future. I am a Registered Nurse who works as a homecare nurse in Genesee County for the last 11 years. I was born and raised in Flint, and moved to Swartz Creek 12 years ago. Our family is very involved in the community and we look forward to bringing new opportunities to the area. We have 5 children who are all involved in the sport of gymnastics, a daughter that after 16 years in the sport is now a coach, a level 6 daughter, a level 5 son, a level 1 daughter and a preschool class son. The oldest two girls have also been involved in cheer and competitive cheer. Being a gym mom helps give the facility the family feel that we are looking for, by being able to see things from the parent point of view. I do have cheer experience but prefer to leave that to our coaches. I have also been in more mom and me preschool classes than I could ever begin to count (hence the air conditioning) as well as spending endless hours sitting in the stands watching practices and meets (why we opted for padded chairs). I have a love of crafting and creating things such as creating the social media posts, shirts and hair bows. Managing a house with a husband, 5 kids and 3 dogs, a full time job, and getting everyone where they need to be and when they need to be there makes me a chaos coordinator.

I have been involved in gymnastics for over 30 years as an athlete, coach and judge. Growing up in Poland, Ohio, I fell in love with the sport of gymnastics at 7 years old, quickly moving to competitive team at the local gymnastics center. Once on the competitive team, I competed in the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic program and AAU Junior Olympics Program. After high school, I received an offer to continue competing in gymnastics for Michigan State University, where I majored in Finance. After college, I continued coaching gymnastics throughout mid-Michigan and Florida. I am currently the USA Gymnastics State Chairman for Michigan Men’s Gymnastics, and have held this elected position for 8 years. I have been judging mens gymnastics for 20 years. I hold a National Judging ranking, and have judged competitions from the Junior Olympic Level all the way through the NCAA National Championships. In my spare time, you will find me with my family. We have 5 kids, all starting with the letter “B”, hence the creation of the beehive in our preschool classes. I also enjoy golfing when the chance arrives. I look forward to meeting you and working with your children.
